Faith in Action

Since earliest times, faith leaders and communities have been attending to the needs of their people, especially the poor, the marginalized and people in crisis. Grounded in their belief about the God-given dignity and equality of every human, and in their respective sacred texts and religious traditions, faith groups are committed to relieve the suffering and disadvantage of brothers and sisters in need in their own congregations and also in their broader community and society.

Faith groups live out this commitment to the common good in a variety of ways, among them:

Care for the Health and Well-being of the Poor and Marginalized

Advocacy for the Needs of the Poor and Vulnerable
