Center for Interfaith Action on Global Poverty (CIFA)

Executive Director

The Center for Interfaith Action on Global Poverty was a Washington, DC-based non-profit development organization committed to building the capacity of the international faith sector to increase its impact on poverty and disease. CIFA was launched by development philanthropist Ed Scott, was housed in the Cathedral College at Washington National Cathedral, and continued the mission of the Washington National Cathedral’s Center for Global Justice and Reconciliation. In 2011 the entity was merged into Religions for Peace.

CIFA hosted meeting at Georgetown University of international malaria control advocates and donors to frame a large scale interfaith engagement strategy, with a focus on Nigeria.
